Virtual Math Tournament

We invented Virtual Tournaments- it's Video Conferencing Tournaments in a WebEx Chat Room with a Gameshow Host. We host Virtual Events for grades 3-12. Please check out our list below to join in an Event, there are Individual student events and Team events. These are a perfect activity for your math club or class. Parents may register students if the school is not participating. We allow up to 100 computers to log in. You do not have to be enrolled in our yearly competition to participate. Districts may call us to reserve and schedule their personalized virtual tournament, 1-888-835-2366. These can be done during school hours or after school. How do Virtual Tournaments work?  Virtual Tournaments are face to face competitions, not tests. Students or teams join the meeting in our WebEx Vritual Tournament room and converse with the Host. The host shares a screen with the gameboard and calls on competitors to select a category. There is live scoring where students input their answers. The live scoring site has a timer and a box below it to input your answer. When the timer runs out, the host tells the answer to the question and calls on a copetitor to select the next category.  The tournament covers many topics with word problems, puzzles, and some basice computation and usually has 15 or more questions. The competition is over in an hour and winners are announced live on Facebook. 

Once a tournament is scheduled, we will work with you ahead of time to make sure that you understand how to log in. The tournaments require internet and speakers, (webcam and mic are optional). Each team will need to view WebEx for the tournament questions and gameshow. They also log in to our livetournament scoring site to enter their answers. If you have multiple teams competing, you may project the WebEx on a large screen for all teams, and all teams can use an additional computer for score entry. Our Virtual Tournaments listed below are open to all public, private and home schools, clubs or organizations. Parents may register students for our events if the school is not participating.
